I added a 5-inch secondary monitor to my desk setup and it changed everything

After trying out multiple workstation arrangements, I recently settled on an ultrawide monitor as the centerpiece of my desk setup. Rather than use dual monitors, I switched to the curved ultrawide for ultimate simplicity. The one I use specifically has an integrated Thunderbolt dock and KVM switch, and this makes it possible to connect any device — whether it be my M4 Mac Mini, Ayaneo Mini PC, or Lenovo Yoga Book 9i laptop — to my entire workstation with a single cable. Months after making the switch, I realized I did want dual monitors, but not in the conventional sense.
