Apple has an unreleased iPad mini Smart Folio listed on its French regulatory website, hinting that a new iPad mini is coming. The case’s A3632 model number doesn’t match current or past iPad mini cases.
Apple appears to have added the case to its website recently, and it’s listed alongside iPhone 18 Pro accessories added in September.
The listing doesn’t include any iPad mini specs, but it does suggest design changes to the device it’s meant for as a new Smart Folio may mean current cases won’t fit the next iPad mini.
Rumors suggest the iPad mini 8 with an OLED display and a more water-resistant design will be introduced on October 27 or 28 alongside an OLED MacBook Pro. The A3632 Smart Folio could be for the OLED iPad mini.
